About the Journal
The Journal of Management, Communication, and Business (JURMAKOMBIS) serves as an interdisciplinary platform for examining the intersection of management theory, strategic communication, and modern business practices. In the context of rapid changes driven by digitalization, globalization, and socioeconomic dynamics, a holistic understanding of how organizations manage resources, communicate messages, and operate competitively has become increasingly essential.
JURMAKOMBIS focuses on three interconnected thematic areas: strategic and operational management, organizational and marketing communication, and business innovation and digital transformation. Through this scope, the journal seeks to bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers interested in how effective management can be strengthened through appropriate communication strategies, and how both contribute to sustainable business growth.
Methodologically, JURMAKOMBIS welcomes qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches. Published articles are expected to offer theoretical contributions and meaningful practical implications in areas such as organizational development, marketing communication, leadership, value chain management, and business adaptation to emerging technologies, including social media, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data.
As a national peer-reviewed journal, JURMAKOMBIS is committed to maintaining high quality standards. Every manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. In addition, the journal enforces strict publication ethics policies addressing plagiarism and conflicts of interest, and adopts an open-access policy to maximize the dissemination of scholarly knowledge.
Ultimately, JURMAKOMBIS aspires to become a leading reference in Indonesia and Southeast Asia for interdisciplinary research integrating management, communication, and business. The journal aims not only to serve as a platform for scholarly publication but also as an agent of change, supporting adaptive, communicative, and sustainable organizational and business transformation in an ever-changing landscape.
